This time, XTOMIC’s really busy.. We have our several upcoming performances:

1) 26 November, Friday (10pm to 11pm)

We will be making our special appearance at CCCrush’s concert at Esplanade Recital Studio. Only 1 song! This is composed & written by one of the CCCrush members, Cheryl Miles. It’s really nice!! Do buy tickets worth $25 each at any Sistic outlet, in order to support us…

2) 28 November, Sunday (10am to 6pm)

We will be there at the Takashimaya-Civic Plaza (CCA Fair 2004), selling handicraft services like balloon sculpturing, badge-making and face-painting. Besides this, we will be putting up a performance at around 3pm. I will be teaching audience simple alphabets and conversational signs after the performance.

3) 5 December, Sunday (2pm to 5pm)

This event is so-called “Disability Awareness Week”. It’ll be held at Singapore Expo Hall 6A. I suppose, there’s alot of publicity going on. I saw it on TV.. Oh yes, Singapore Idol finalists will be there, doing some stints. Huishan and I will be performing with them as well. Moreover, XTOMIC is giving a performance as the one at the CCA Fair 2004. Do watch out for us at 2pm and 4pm respectively!!

4) 12 December, Sunday (9am to 3pm)

Again, we will perform together with CCCrush for the first 2 items at Suntec. This time, it will be a bit different. Also, we will do the third dance item to make public look very SHIOK! :p

5) 18 December, Saturday (4pm to 5pm)

For the first time, XTOMIC will have its 1-hour Christmas Musical at the Library@Esplanade. This is to promote deaf awareness through this musical and meanwhile you will be able to enjoy the Christmas mood.

Do come down and support us on these days!! With your wishes, we will have our great talents to show you, making sure that your mouth will drop to the ground! XTOMIC will be always remembered!!

Ha, my conducting performance went well and smoothly with alot of your wishes! It’s really great.. Even, Sister Anne (who was my formerly principal) gave me alot of compliments and she encouraged me to develop my talents further.

Hmmm, I think that was really my BIG step! Mr Teow just asked me to conduct the performance without any proper training. From that moment, I had been struggling to get everything right.. I know how to start conducting, but the problem is that I do not know how to stop!! Nevermind about it..

Well, it is really fun doing so. I’m now thinking of going back to music textbooks during my leisure time. Have to sacrifice time like going out on movie dates..

I suppose, I need to stick to my plan of applying for a full-time music diploma at NAFA. Perhaps, I will work hard towards getting this diploma as well as going for a BA (Hons) in Music Performance. Have to work harder for it!!

Lately, I haven’t had any good sleep.. My schedule is getting heavier due to the SADeaf & XTOMIC projects.

I suppose, I haven’t put my commitments in a priority order. Right now, I’m between part-time jobs. As for the Bizlink graphics design, I haven’t received my Sept & Oct pay claim (without CPF deduction) till now. I asked the boss several times about it. I really wanna drop it but they won’t let me go till this Dec. After all, it’s a temporary job. I have to tolerate with it!!

I guess, doing multi-tasking may be a good idea.. But it is not good for you when you are not ready. As for me, I have been multi-tasking since then.. Haha, when it comes to XTOMIC, I really can multi-perform in any arts form: song-signing, acting, singing, dancing, percussion and conducting.. :p

Hmmm, I have another of my own performances. Conducting!! This will be my first time conducting the Canossian School Percussion Band on this coming Sat.. Mr. Teow won’t be around in Singapore, he asked me to take over his place for the performance. I need your wishes, my dear friends!!! Me, feeling quite STRESSED!!!!

Last night, Huishan, Kamisah, Ka Wai, Jesline and I performed for the KFC Mania. Do you know what song we performed?? Again, LARGER THAN LIFE!! *yawns*

After the KFC Mania at the HQ building, we went together with Donna, Alfred and other Deaf staff to Orchard Coffee Club.. Nicky treated us to some food and drinks with his $300..! WOW!! So generous of him!!

There at the Coffee Club, all of them except Alfred, Donna, Serina and me went home early. We were still there till 1am. We had a hearty chat, talking non-sense. We drank a whole bottle of red wine. Over the chat, Serina and Donna asked me to re-join KFC.. Even, they asked me to consider becoming the manager as Alfred. I didn’t say anything, just smiling.. And at the same time, I felt so weird. I never work so long. Again, I say, I have quitted the job at KFC since January 2004. Donna told me that I am already part of the KFC family and whenever there is any KFC event, she will call me. Everyone does not mind it at all..

After all, I enjoyed the whole night with the Deaf staff and other managers…
